got the car back

Got the car back from the sprayers on saturday , the engine bay is now looking good , a lot cleaner and and nice and white , just taken all the stuff from under the engine to be powder coated , crossmember, ARB , anti dive , brackets etc etc ,all new nuts and bolts to hold it all together, new superflex poly bushes, got a new steering rack and TRE's to go on , adjustable TCA's to go on ,all brake pipes have been replaced with new items , painting the struts yellow , all the engine has been freshly painted with all nuts and bolts replaced , new plugs ,leads, dizzy cap ,powder coated rocker cover and cambelt cover, powder coated servo bracket and painted servo , brand new master cylinder to go on new washer bottle and pipes, some new water hoses ,bulkhead pad (mint) should (hopefully) be starting to get it back together at the weekend .

That will be the front end of the car done , back end next year , then complte body overhaul year after.

And this was a car when i brought i swore i was not going to spend a penny on.

Fetching mine back from the welders tonite, had new floor pans at front and spare wheel well sorted!! Then new water pump, cambelt and radiator to go in...watch this space..

well ive taken all the above to be done and he said it will be around £40

you cant have the servo powder coated because of the internals , i just sanded mine down and resprayed it with smooth hammerite , ive had the servo bracket powder coated tho
