Online membership form removed till further notice !

I have received a few e-mails in respect of the club magazine Opposite Lock (or lack of it !).

It has been 12 months since the last issue was sent out !!

The online membership form will NOT be available to download until the Club is back upto speed again.

Whilst I always try to deal with any enquiries asap The Mag is Phil Teears jobby so can people direct all issues regarding mag direct to him and e-mail me if there are problems with the website or this BB.

Phil has limited access to the net so it is better to call him direct by phone.

I don't even know when my membership is up? Could be up now.

I'll pay it in June regardless, dunno about the ferry times yet though, but I will be there at some point - oh yes.

I loved parking my slightly "lived in" car beside the spit and polish brigade last year - with my smashed windscreen and all.

all they have to do is print off a few pages of this websites technical articles and photocopy them, instant newsletter.

my membership has lapsed, wont be renewing until its sorted out

A suggestion....

Why not introduce a Members only area on this site with the magazine strictly online?

No more copying, no more postage, colour pics available, etc.

Just a thought.

thats a pretty good idea, but when i was a member of the avo club (before i let my membership expire) i really looked forward to gettin Havoc. it brightened up my day.

Phil Teear has called me reference MY decision to remove the membership form.

I (as explained) have removed the form as I do not want the grief off paid up members NOT receiving the magazine and more importantly new members via this site also not receiving Opposite Lock.

Phil (on Sunday) informed me he will put a letter together and I am to post it onto this BB (Phil - log in and post it yourself ! - it is easy !!) explaining the lack of Opposite Lock.

Letter not yet received but will update as soon as I have it.

Maybe it will come with the next Opposite Lock Annual !
