  • ...OSM 628S...mk2 mexico...restoration...

i have finally started the mk2 mexico today....5/7/06....

its not going to be a easy project as its got alot of filler and needs welding in all the normal spots

but i will be sending it to be dipped in acid in the next 2 months
then its of to escort-tec to have all the welding done to it and new genuine ford panels fitted

the car will be going back to white as this was the origanal colour of the car befor it was painted red by the old owner

its not a bad old shell but like i say it will need welding up to make a nice mexico....so here we go again

    so wish me luck
and i will keep the pics coming

here is what she looks like at the mo

      the rest will be standard

          cheeRS mark....

its not a bad shell...its gone in all the normal places

the wheel well looks good but its not as there is about 1/2 of filler in it....lol

still it will all go in the dip... ...i carnt wait to get it up there and back just to see what its like

there will be none of that black sh*t under the car and no filler and bits anywhere just a nice clean shell to work on....
