had a couple of nights at the car cut the floor pan and seat runner out,hopefully get it welded back in tomorrow

Got the nosecone of this week and the wings,was going to hack the wings of till i found out how much they want for second hand ones so these will now be used for my other shell along with the nosecone.It was nice to see my work of 4 years ago is still quite hole and not to rusty

2010 if it takes as long as it did to get to this stage got all these bits to go on it so once it is painted should go back together quite quick just need a t5 box ,prop and atlas lsd and some powder coating

got the other side cut out this week some grinding and a bit of trimming then i can get it welded back in then it's off for shotblasting

still got one to do ,Jim still needs a hand with some bits on his and still got Cammys new head cloth to fit, will get onto mine some time, still got work to do on the mex too so it wont be out this year 48 hr day would help

it's been a while now (over 2 years) but the garage is empty and nothing planned in the near future (apart from minor things to get the mex on the road) so it's time to start my own car got most of the body bits heres what i have so far

also have a second hand drivers side gutter rail, new ford wings just need to order a back panel,front panel, landing panel and a sheet of steel to rebuild the tunnel and lower bulkhead.

Had a little play with the 9" grinder over the past 2 nights to remove the bad welding and accident repairs over the years just hope it fits back together again or there could be a lot of parts for sale

top half of the lower bulkhead sorted not done the hole at the tunnel yet as it needs altered for the gearbox had to make the centre part from scratch as it was total rotten
will have to sit for a few weeks as the mex needs some work first

got everthing clamped in place bulkhead fits but the n/s pillar will need a hit with a big hammer to get the dash to fit

the only problem is that the wings don't line up with the bonnet due to the fact the car was bent when I done the inner's and outers about 10 years ago,

got he bulkhead and dash in (with a little help from the porta power and ratchet strap) and welded in place started on the sill so I can finish the bottom of the kick panel

that was my mex 16 years ago
done an anglia , rwd fiesta and rs2000 for myself and 10 mk2,3 mk1 escorts for other people over the years and still have a 1965 rover and a 2.8 capri to finish

now got both sills done just got the front of the drivers side to finish as it didn't include the bottom of the pillar both floor pan welds ground down and primed, seat runner and rear seat mount back in ground and primed just got the bulkhead to floor pan joints to do and that the big repairs done it's back to the easy stuff like arches and fitting new panels and minor rust repairs
