i got those 215 BFG's on mine - the writing is only on one side so i asked the fitters to put it to the inside so it dont look too gay :camp: - dont see why peeps do it so it shows .......... they look like a 'red-neck hill-billy off roader' :freak:

i questioned the carbs, this is his reply:-

hi lee, these series x escorts were not all fitted with 44 idf's some only had std carb. you could chose as many or as little options as you wanted. i think this car has over the years had performance upgrades and at some time it has had 45's put on i have the receipt for this. i also have an article from june 1983 on this vehicle reading ford factory x pack,full group 1 engine 140 bhp, lsd, 7 1/2 j alloys, 17 gallon tank, x pack suspension, steering and vented brakes. it was also vascared at 130 mph. the car was then owned by Graham Taylor of surry traffic police. hope this is help. i am sure you could easily change it to 44's if required. cheers jarrod.

thats right kel - mine used to have the triple blue vertical stipes on the doors, but these "highlight" the arches more ........... well thats what i tell myself :rolleyes:
