I like my yank toys as well.... had a 77 gold line "Bandit" T/A.. then had a 79 model. They are thirsty Fu^<er$ though... expect 12mpg as average. You'll get 15-17 cruising down the motorway & 6 when you thrash it. :eek:


The early cars are really desirable now the Bullnose Formulas & Trans Ams are doing big money in the states now. It a bit like Escorts over here... no one wanted them not so long back now everybody wants them again.

The affordable way to run a Yank is on LPG...
I currently run a 5.7 G20 day van. To £15 of gas round town i'll get 85-90 miles, on the motorway 120-130miles.
